Manuel has project and working experience in the field  of ICT and mobile communication as well as political consulting and wrote several research proposals for international funding. His academic research interests are the governance of technology and knowledge as well as the development of modern society and democracy under the influence of technology.&lt;br /&gt;

He is now in charge of organizing the EVOTE2010 conference, which will take place from 21st to the 24th of July 2010 in Lochau, near Bregenz. &lt;br /&gt;

Next to his work, Daniel studies Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics. His majors are Marketing and Behavioural Science Oriented Management. He holds an I.P.M.A. certificate in project management. For his diploma thesis he did qualitative research to evaluate the IT support of the Austrian election system.</description>
